Galambitsa Receives Honorable Mention for Artwork
Liliia Galambitsa, a junior at ELHS, received an Honorable Mention for her mixed media work Ukrainian Soul. The award was given by the Massachusetts Art Region of the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards.
Superintendent Gordon Smith presented her with the aware and a citation from the East Longmeadow Public Schools.
Liliia moved to East Longmeadow when her city of Vinnytsia in Ukraine was bombed in 2022.
